It all started with a couple of friends that had an idea about a drivetrain setup. We didn't know what kind of engine or transmission it would be in the end, Just that it had to be spicy, a bit odd, and also some sort of a "cheap" solution. At this moment it wasn't even on the radar that we were gonna use a Volkswagen Polo 6R as a platform and do a WRC replica RWD, that came from some random Instagram searching, and boom, The concept started to take shape.
Episode 3 (in English) - A viewer called us and gave us real WRX parts for the Polo
A few weeks ago we got a phone call from Martin at Nugo, who told us he had seen our videos and had a real Volkswagen Motorsport rear trunk and right side door that he thought would be better for us to use than collecting dust! We've also managed to complete the driveshaft, front plate, and much more...
Episode 2 (in English) - Rally Polo is on its four wheels after 2 years
We work over the weekend to put the Polo on its four wheels! It's been a long journey over 2 years. But now we are pushing through to make a new milestone in the project!
Episode 1 (in English) - Building my own street-legal, rally-inspired WRC Volkswagen Polo
Now it is finally here, the first episode is fully in English. Two years into the build, it starts with a huge summary of where we are today. After much anticipation, we now offer the build series in English...

After some back and forth the drivetrain ideas slowly came together and all of a sudden we had the perfect mix & match setup! The engine became a Volvo 1.6 litre N/A engine (which of course will have some goodies done to it) and the gearbox from an S55 F80 M3 platform, also known as the DCT.
Now that we had a drivetrain setup and a platform to put it in, the next question that we asked ourselves was where, what shall we do with it? should it be a true track weapon? many thoughts where on the table, but it ended with that we are doing this the hard way. Which means that we will make it fully roadworthy.
Together with Nuke Performance & Domiworks Engineering we are about to build some of the more spectacular projects that are built by amateurs for the road that you may have seen before! This will be full tube frame chassi with double-a wishbone setup front and rear and pushrod suspension in the back. To top all of this we are going to use all of Nuke Performance products straight through the build and also Domiworks products that give us the opportunity to merge the Volvo engine with the DCT in a true OEM way.
