 How do you choose and use fuel pumps for the Nuke Performance LightCell fuel cell?
The Nuke Performance LightCell fuel cell, equipped with the revolutionary CFC Unit, is designed to meet the fuel demands of high-performance applications ranging from 200 to 2000+ horsepower. Whether you're building for the street, track, or strip, this versatile system offers unparalleled flexibility and reliability. The integrated CFC Unit features a built-in fuel surge tank and fuel pump hanger, making it compatible with a wide range of high-pressure fuel pumps. It supports both single or dual fuel pump setups from top manufacturers, including DW300, DW400, DW440 from Deatschwerks, GST400, GST 450, GST 520 from Walbro, BR540 from Bosch, Stealth 450 from Aeromotive, and many more. These fuel cells can be ordered with either the standard CFC Unit or a version specialized for brushless fuel pumps that require additional electrical connectors. 

Fuel pump installation and configuration:
 Supply pump/feeder pump mounting: One fuel pump is mounted within the fuel cell, securely attached to a height-adjustable aluminum mounting pipe. This ensures that the surge tank is filled with sufficient fuel.

 High-pressure pump/surge tank pump mounting: One or two additional high-pressure fuel pumps are installed with the billet mount inside the integrated surge tank, ensuring fuel supply during high-demand conditions.

The LightCell fuel cell, paired with the CFC Unit, eliminates the risk of fuel starvation even in extreme driving conditions. Thanks to the internal foam baffling and innovative surge tank design, fuel delivery remains consistent and reliable no matter the situation. With the additional fuel pump mounting kits offered by Nuke Performance, it has never been easier to set up a high-performance, long-lasting, and easy-to-maintain fuel system for your motorsports build.

The Nuke Performance CFC Unit simplifies high-performance fuel system setups with various fittings and connectors designed for motorsports applications. Featuring a single AN-10 ORB outlet and an AN-8 ORB return, the CFC Unit is compatible with a wide range of aftermarket fuel system components.

 A single oversized outlet equals fewer hoses and less mess

The oversized AN-10 ORB outlet consolidates internal fuel pumps into one high-flow line, minimizing the need for external parts. The AN-8 ORB return port directs return fuel into the surge tank, ensuring it always remains full. We offer fittings in both straight AN-to-AN versions and space-saving Full Flow Banjo fittings, perfect for tight installations which is available for both the supply and return ports.

 FAQ : How does the Competition Fuel Cell Unit work?

 No fuel pumps are included with the LightCell fuel cell :
The LightCell fuel cell from Nuke Performance is available with or without a CFC Unit. When ordering a CFC Unit, you must choose a model for traditional in-tank or brushless fuel pumps. Regardless of the version, no fuel pumps are included and must be purchased separately.
